We have been teaching on Holiness. God is Holy, Jesus is Holy, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Heb 12:14 Pursue peace with all men, and holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
We are called to be like Jesus Christ. He was and He is holy. You can by his power live a holy life.
1 Peter 1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct 16. because it is writtten, be holy for I am holy.
Too many Christians belive that they can not live a holy life, they cannot be holy in ALL their conduct. But if you can not then God is telling you to do something that is impossible. But God always gives you the ability to do what he has told you to do. Many, trying to live a holy life by their own strenth, have made holiness into acting like a pharisee. Dont ware this, don't were makeup, if you are a woman you must dress like you live in a covered wagon. That is foolishness not holiness. Your spirit man is holy, recreated in Christ Jesus. Let the inner man out, let the Holy Spirit show forth to the world.
